“My eyes are constantly following lines and shapes, creating images in
my mind. Whether I am painting or photographing, the journey remains
the same, capturing these images and forming them into a finished work.
Defining the path my eyes have taken is a challenge that both excites
and confounds me. Experimenting with new ideas and media, like
combining watercolor and pastel with photography, forces me to slow down
and really internalize who I am, where I am going, and what I want to
say. It is a timeless dance that I wish to voice, to celebrate, and to
share.”
