"Painting is an adventure, an exploration, seeing with new eyes. Learning new techniques, exploring new materials and expanding the breadth of my painting experiences have contributed to personal fulfillment and just great fun. Painting links my love of gardening and the out of doors, and completes who I am." Elly Wane has studied drawing and painting since her retirement from teaching. Born in Holland, raised in New Jersey, educated at Syracuse and Columbia Universities. A resident of Rockland County since 1956, she maintains a studio at her home.
