My work is created from found objects and
musical instruments that I weld into imaginative, whimsical yet figurative
sculptures. My thematic inspirations can be derived from myth, music,
nature or an interpretation of the observable. The primary parts are from
automobiles, motorcycles, tools, machines and rebar; the everyday objects
tht are part of our lives yet often unobserved. They then become
transformed into works of art.
Although my background consists of no formal art school training, I have
used life and my surroundings as a study. Thus, my work falls into
the category known as outsider art ("art brut").
