I aim to combine the best features of abstraction and representational imagery with strong design, vibrant color and a loose style."

         Raised and educated in Baltimore, Maryland, Eli Rosenthal came to New York to attend a summer session at the Art Students League and stayed on to become an award–winning advertising art director, graphics designer, sculptor and painter.
          Eli is a signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, the New Jersey Watercolor Society, and the Northeast Watercolor Society.
          His most recent awards are the Matilda Grich Memorial Award, at the Northeast Watercolor Society, the Doris D. Schoonmaker Memorial Award, at the New Jersey Watercolor Society and the John Singer Sargent Award at the CAA.
          Eli teaches, demonstrates and conducts workshops in watercolor painting.
          His paintings can be found in an increasing number of private collections.
